With Valentine’s Day being about a week awayI thought today I would share My Love List. Plus, I love any excuse to be absorbed by thoughts of love.

1. How cute is this ruffled romper from Anthropologie?  I think every girl is entitled to something frilly and fun to frolic in, Valentine’s Day or not. With its aubergine hue, this pick would be my choice.

2. The  Orignal Stella McCartney fragance had me at hello. It helps that I get complimented everytime I wear it. She makes lovely scents with the added bonus that they are made from organic ingredients.  Stellanude takes her signature amber infused , citrus-cut  rose and puts an intimate spin on it , as  she softens it with a touch of vanilla and musk.

3.  Oh, where to begin with Pablo Neruda?   At my core I’m a romantic at heart, and the right words always make me swoon (coming from the right person that is).  Neruda is the right person and in his book , Love Poems, my friends, after read a few lines you, too will swoon.  And the cover is absolutely GORGEOUS!

4. Valentine’s Day is about expresseions of love. This year, whether you receive jewels (from yourself or a significant other) or love letters from a long distance love, you will need somewhere to store those cherished items. That place should be something equally as beautiful. I think these West Elm Medallion Jewelry Boxes are the perfect place.

5. Speaking of Love Letters, this print, entitled Sunday Morning, by Gabrielle Kai Photography is just beautiful.  The composition is stunning and quite honestly this photo would have me daydreaming all day.  How lovely would it be to receive this photograph Valentine’s Day? To me, that would be a just perfect.

6. Of course as a tea lover, I had to include Love, Love Tea. Why not share a cup of tea with someone you love?  Not only does this rose-infused blend  come with a secret love note but it also comes with its own philosophy. My favorit line: Be kind with yourself. For without being generous to ourselves we can’t be generous with our love for others. I couldn’t have said it better.

I hope this get list gets you in the mood for Valentine’s Day. For me it’s a holiday about the loves of my life, which whether I’m single or not, always includes the most lovely  and amazing host of friends and family a girl could ever dream of having.
