The other day on the holiday playlist at work, Eartha Kitt’s song Santa, Baby started to play. It’s my favorite song  and I adore it for being unapologetically naughty and fun!  You just have to watch the video below;  it’s absolutely divine!

That little song put me inspired me to mix a little Christmas naughtiness with my nice.

I just imagine dear, sweet Eartha decorating for the holidays by mixing in a few personal items in with the decor to make it moody and seductive. You know, a feather boa here, an ornament there;  a lipstick-stained champagne glass here, while hanging the wreath with cheer; and a touch of  holiday sparkle courtesy of her high heels, last year’s  Tiffany’s diamond earrings  and the Christmas lights. Le Sigh…I feel more glam just writing all of that. It’s about the people bringing all the holiday glitz and perhaps somebody picking up on a few hints (as in, Oh My! A new duplex and checks! How on earth did you guess?)

Anyhoo, whether you have been naughty or nice, I hope your holidays are fun and very, very glam (golddigging optional, wink and sly smile).

And before, getting the day started, I wanted you to be the first to know  that after today’s post, I will literally be taking a holiday, to celebrate the season and regroup for the new year.  For me one of the highlights  of 2009 has been this blog and the people who it visit everyday. I’m so thankful you stop by and, for you, I want Design Wonderland to be bigger, better and more creative  in 2010.
