Weekend Wishes: A New Frame of Mind

I’ve been stuck on frames this week, starting first with the framed rose petals in Collette Dinnigan’s Sydney home, then on Wednesday, with those lovely lace frames at Urban Outfitters. While researching those posts I found these two beautiful images of frames and panels as wall art/headboards. Of course I had to share them with you!

The photo above is my favorite. I love this monochromatic grouping  of  frames and panels against the stark white wall. This is the perfect stand in for a traditional headboard as it lends texture and interest to the space. Of course it’s made even better with the pearls draped across the frames.

The light blue wall highlights the intricate cut-work of these Kashmiri Panels. It makes read like a delicate lace.

For fun I thought  show that frames are perfect for objects as well.

These framed objects are from design collective, the. Don’t you want these? I do…

I’m taking my new frame of mind into the weekend. I plan think outside the box and tackle new creative experiments. I’m sure some will work and some will not but that’s part of the process and the fun.

I hope you have a happy creative weekend!

xoxo, Jessica
