Loving Lacroix
Christian Lacroix has designed everything from couture dresses to to subway cars and there’s a dream-like design vernacular to every thing touches, as if, he too, lives in his own design wonderland. With that in mind, I thought I would share my favorite Lacroix interiors.

Above are Lacroix’s beautiful conceptual drawings for The Hotel Bellechasse in Paris. And below are images of the actual hotel, translating the fanciful feel of the drawings into reality.

I love seeing how designer’s live so I wanted to include some images of Lacroix’s former Paris apartment.
With the eclectic mix of modern and classic furnishings, this 17th century apartment is colorful and homey. Coincidentally, this is also happens to be my fantasy Paris apartment.

And finally, this is a House and Garden pic photographed in Lacroix’s studio and there is something quite dreamy about the image. I want to to be in this room in my ruffled, couture dress surrounded by flowers (bull’s head optional). I’m in love with the abstract sky blue and white paint finish and the vintage chandelier. This image makes me feel like it’s OK to have your head in the clouds… well, sometimes.
In my design daydreams, I lounge around in couture dresses in sketching and dreaming up fabulous interiors. Looking at Christian Lacroix’s work, I’m inspired to make those dreams a reality.
I hope you are too! Happy Wednesday!!

That is totally my fantasy anywhere apartment! Love it!
