How amazing are these table lamps from the antique shop High Style Deco? Of course, I found them via 1st dibs. And yes , I spend way too much a lot of time on that site.

They are from the 1970’s and have amazing chrome accents. However my favorite thing about them has to be lucite’s chameleon-like ability to fit in any environment.

Happy Monday! I realized that I never did a Bright Star feature last week. My apologies. However, I found a lovely pendant at Restoration Hardware to make up for it.
Please let me introduce you to the Victorian Hotel Pendant.

Pretty isn’t it? It comes in 2 sizes, 18″ diameter as well as 24″. How lovely and welcoming would this be in a foyer? Or perhaps in a master suite as RH suggests. I want one for my beautiful non-existent walk-in closet.

It is so inspiring when a feature, such a this pendant harkens back to a more elegant time. That’ s exactly why this fixture is today’s Bright Star!

Hello dear readers! Welcome back to design wonderland! I hope you had an amazing weekend. I thought for today’s Bright Star feature, I would show two of my favorite new task lights from West Elm.

I’m a total sucker for the classic simplicity of form of WE’s Industrial Task Lamp. A touch of the industrial looks fantastic in almost any interior. It’s great for grounding more feminine elements in a room . Don’t think about it just for the office; I’m thinking about this one for my own nightstand.

Isn’t wonderful that West Elm is collaborating with the next generation of designers? The Pratt LED Table Lamp was born in partnership with the design students from the Pratt Institute. Not only is it energy efficient, but I love the streamlined design that juxtaposes the wood base.
Gosh, I still miss DC’s West Elm and seeing what’s new in person, but I still love the design they offer at affordable prices.
Have an amazing Monday!
xoxo,
Jessica

Happy Monday! I hope you had an amazing weekend. I put my energy into getting some much need rest, so I couldn’t ask for a better 2 days.
Anyhoo, I don’t think I’ve shown sconces on the blog, but I’ve been looking at these from Zia Priven for a couple of weeks.

The Club Crystal Sconce has been brightening up my days with its feminine charm and delicate crystals. Perfect way to light up a hallway or add some elegance to a residential stairway.

Happy Monday! Can you believe it’s August?! I can’t. Albeit, August is my favorite month (my birthday is coming up woohoo!), but it does in a way signal the end of summer, which is always a bit bittersweet. Anyhoo, before I get all sentimental let’s get back to the what we are here for… Design.
Today’s Bright Star comes from everyone’s favorite lust-inducing store, Anthorpologie. Their Rock Crystal Lamp has me a little light-headed at the moment.

Rock Crystal has a mystical, curiosity shop quality that lends a touch of alchemy to a room. It would be perfect in a study or a pair sitting atop the living room console. I can’t say it enough; this lamp is perfection.

Recently, I discovered a beautifully poetic lighting collection at Alison Berger Glassworks. Trained as architect, Alison Berger would eventually turn her intentions to the medium of glass, heralding stunning results. I couldn’t decide which one to show so here’s a peak of the some of the beauties in her collection.

Aren’t they gorgeous? These pieces have a quality of simple elegance and would lend that feeling to a modern space.
Alison Berger Glassworks is available to the trade through Holly Hunt.

Happy Monday! I hope you had an awesome weekend.
Over the weekend I saw the most beautiful interior in Mali, accented with Moorish lanterns (more on that later). I can’t get the beautiful lanterns out of my mind and went on a mad internet hunt to find the perfect one. Today I’m inspired by this pendant lantern that I saw on the Pieces website.

It looks so delicate and intricate and the perfect accent to add a global touch to home.

It’s been around the web and back ( and yes on this blog too) and published, time and again, but I will always love those Crystal Ship Chandeliers. Some pieces just become classics.
Here are three different options from lowest to antique, if you like the look as much as I do.

Gotta love these installation shots for inspiration…

How can you not appreciate that rare combination of eclectic and elegant. This piece would look quite handsome in a study, don’t you think?

I’m not sure what happened to the weekend, but hey it’s Monday! The week is full of amazing possibilities…
I have spoken about the Diesel’s Successful Living collaboration for the Italian lighting company Foscarini, but I never showed any of the fixtures. Since the lighting line launched, The Cage Suspension collection still has some of my favorites fixtures.

It has a fabulous industrial quality with a simple silhouette. According to the description the design was inspired by the underground lamps used by miners with the cage encasing becoming decorative instead of protective. I’m seeing it in a cool restaurant, club or a loft space. Where would you put it?
You can see the complete collection here.

Happy Monday to you! It’s Bright Star time!
Today Bright Star is brought to you via Restoration Hardware. With its rustic charm to brighten up my day, I think their Burlap Dome Chandelier is absolutely beautiful.

Aside from it’s charming qualities, Do you know what else I love about it? I’m loving that the burlap fabric is repurposed.
